Selected for the 74th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting

I am honored to have been selected as one of the 30 Chinese PhD students to participate in the 74th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting (Chemistry). This globally acclaimed forum connects Nobel Laureates with emerging scientists to foster cross-generational inspiration.

Highlights of the Experience:

  • German University Tour: Prior to the meeting, I joined the Chinese delegation for an insightful tour of the University of Bonn, University of Giessen, University of Bayreuth, and the Technical University of Munich. I specifically audited the scientific infrastructure and laboratory management models at these institutions.
  • Scientific Exchange: During the meeting, I engaged with multiple Nobel Laureates. A notable highlight was participating in an on-stage “arm-wrestling” demonstration with Professor Ben Feringa, which vividly illustrated the mechanical properties of molecular machines.

This opportunity provided unparalleled perspectives on global scientific trends and strengthened my commitment to rigorous research in physical organic chemistry.
